Most 2017 flights will be tests of the AtmoSniffer and flight camera optimization for the 21 August 2017 total solar eclipse flight.

June 20, 2017 = HAR170620, National High Altitude Solar Eclipse Ballooning Test Flight Day, Rexburg, Idaho

August 12, 2017 = HAR170812, final pre-eclipse flight shake down cruise, Rexburg, Idaho

Typical Flight Day Schedule for Stratospheric Flights:

4:30 a.m. Meet at WSU in the loading dock area parking lot west of the Science Lab
5:00 a.m. Leave WSU for Duchesne Airport, Rydman Flight Center (for 2017 we'll be heading to Idaho for most flights)
6:45 a.m. Break at partway there
9:15 a.m. Approximate arrival at launch site
10:30 a.m. Target Launch Time! 
11:45 a.m. Guessed at burst time
12:15 p.m. Estimated landing
1:00 p.m. Team lunch and flight discussion
9:00 p.m. Estimated return time to be back at WSU
