Q: Who do I contact if I have questions?
A: The organizing committee is made of your colleagues. Please reach out to any of us. If in doubt contact the webmaster: John Sohl.

Q: When will I get the link for how to join the conference?
A: We will do a mass email to all registrants the day before the conference. The conference schedule will be updated here on the website as fast as updates become available. 

Q: How are the abstracts reviewed and when will I find out if my abstract as been accepted?
A: Review of the abstracts typically starts a few days before the due date and continues for several days as we read through all of them. We then have to decide how many we can fit in as oral presentations and how many need to be posters. We strive for a balance of topics. If we have questions about your abstract we'll contact the lead author as quickly after the deadline as we possibly can. We usually know within a week. If you have concerns you can contact any of us on the organizing committee.

Q: Why is there a registration fee?
A: Normally this covers some of the lunch, break foods, printed materials, room reservations, website hosting, student awards, and more. The price is this low because of our generous sponsors (see the home page). Even a virtual conference has some expenses. Most of the registration fees this year will go to student awards for presentations. Really though, this is about the cost of two venti caffe lattes and there are way fewer calories. It isn't that much.

Q: Where do I park?
A: Well, it is virtual this year. So that's on you.

Q: How do I get there?
A: See above.

Q: What's up for lunch?
A: Normally, everyone who registers will get a box lunch to enjoy while looking at the posters. We typically will have a mix of lunch types, including vegetarian. Please try to be flexible with your choice of meals as we are just guessing at the selection quantity breakdowns.

Real Answer: This year really depends on what is in your fridge.
